一 年 伊 始， 万 象 更 新！每 年 于 华 人 农 历 新 年 接 近 尾 声 时，残 障 朋 友齐 聚 欢 庆 元 宵 外； 在 新 的 一 年 里， 也 祈 愿 带 来 新 盼 望 和 美 好 的 祝 福。
甲 洞 美 门 残 障 康 复 中 心 与 马 华甲 洞 区 会 妇 女 组 于 元 宵 节（3 月4 日）联 办每 年 一 度 的《关 怀 残 障 元 宵 联 欢 会》， 为 著 中 心 的 需 要 筹 募 经 费， 以 购 置 物 理 治 疗 运 动 器 材， 提 供复 健 运 动 服 务 予 脊 椎 受 伤 的 残 障 朋 友。 同 时 也 用 以 购 买 药 用 日 用 品， 以 赠 送 给 残 障 朋 友， 如：尿 袋、 尿 喉 管、 成 人 纸 尿 片 等。
Every year during the Chinese New Year Celebration, a get together will be held to celebrate Chap Goh Mei.
Kepong Beautiful Gate Rehabilitation Centre together with the MCA Wanita organized the annual “Caring for the Disabled Chap Goh Mei Celebration” on 3rd March 2007. This charity is aimed at collecting funds to meet the needs of the center. The Centre need to purchase physiotherapy or exercise equipments, provide rehabilitation and exercise services for those disabled people who are suffering from spinal injury. The funds also be utilized to purchase medicines, daily necessities such as urine bags, catheter, adult pampers and etc.
